A clean win for Detectronic MEICA

The Detectronic MEICA team has won a contract to supply all electrical, mechanical and ICA works for the design, installation and commissioning of a clean water booster station in relation to infrastructure works required by a large UK client.

A clean water booster station is an essential element of any pumping station since it facilitates the transportation of potable water to homes at a desired pressure.

Explains Steve Stone, director of Detectronic MEICA: “We have specified two Grundfos variable speed pump sets for the booster station; one to provide potable water and one for fire fighting capabilities.

“In addition, our work will also include extensive instrumentation work, cabling containment and building services within the kiosk and telemetry outstation.”
