Gap analysis for borehole and reservoir project

6th March 2018

Working on behalf of a national client, Detectronic MEICA have delivered a GAP analysis for an important borehole and reservoir project in the south of England.

Two boreholes currently supply the reservoir and the client has inherited these critical assets from Thames Water.

“The client already has a scope of requirements in mind but, before any work is commissioned, it is vital that all parties have a clear understanding of the assets in order to facilitate the most successful and cost effective upgrade possible,” comments Steve Stone, director at Detectronic MEICA.

“As such, we were employed to carry out a detailed GAP analysis of the current cabling, telemetry, radio system and control philosophy which will now enable the client to refine the scope of works and carefully plan the next stages of this extensive project.”
